Vol 5 No 1 (2024): Peran Hukum dalam Memperkuat Sektor Ekonomi dan Kesejahteraan Sosial di Indonesia

ALSA LC UGM Editorial Board 2023/2024 proudly presents the fifth edition of the ARJUNA!

Starting this year, ARJUNA aims to publish a student-written piece with the purpose to address the arising substantive legal issues in today’s globalization era especially in Asia, such as the role of law in social changes, economic, science and technology, and environmental.

ARJUNA Vol. 5, No. 1 comprises six articles that have undergone thorough peer review to uphold their quality.

Throughout this process, we have collaborated with:

  1. I Gusti Agung Made Wardana S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. (Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Law, Faculty of Law Gadjah Mada University);
  2. Dina Widyaputri Kariodimedjo S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. (Lecturer at Department of Business Law Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University);
  3. Dr. Totok Dwi Diantoro, S.H., M.A., LL.M (Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Law, Faculty of Law Gadjah Mada University); and
  4. Dr. Dinarjati Eka Puspitasari, S.H., M.Hum. (Lecturer at the Department of Environmental Law, Faculty of Law Gadjah Mada University).

Greetings, ALSAians!

Demonstrate your legal writing skills through Asian Legal Reform Journal (ARJUNA), which is currently open for submission! This year’s journal’s theme would be “The Role of Law in Strengthening The Economic Sector and Social Welfare in Indonesia” under the various scope of business law, tax law, labor law, administrative law, technology law, environmental law, and agrarian law.

All currently enrolled students in the Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada and members from other Local Chapters can take advantage of this opportunity. All submissions will be incentivized!

The requirements are as follows:

  1. Maximum of 3 authors (S-1/Undergraduate Law Student from Faculty of Law UGM or active member of other Local Chapters under ALSA National Chapter Indonesia);
  2. Written in proper Indonesian/English language;
  3. Abstract consists of 100-200 words;
  4. Article consists of 3.000-10.000 words;
  5. Article should include a concise and descriptive title (10-15 words);
  6. Use the Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition referencing system; and
  7. Minimum references of 5 books and 10 journals.
