Open Access Policy

This journal adhere to the best practice and high publishing standards and comply with the following conditions:

  1. Provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge;
  2. Deposits content with a long term digital preservation or archiving program;
  3. Uses DOIs as permanent identifiers;
  4. Can Provide Provide article level metadata for any indexers and aggregators;
  5. Allows generous reuse and mixing of content, in accordance with CC BY-SA license.
 

Screening Plagiarism

Plagiarism screening will be conducted using iThenticate & Turnitin online plagiarism detection software. If the screening finds similarity index up to 20% or more, the author should rewrite the entire manuscript. The editor has the right to reject and replace the manuscript if the author does not abide with the regulation within a given time limit (a month) after the manuscript has been returned for revising.

Jurnal Psikologi will immediately investigate and reject papers leading to plagiarism or self-plagiarism. Jurnal Psikologi investigation on suspected plagiarism will be based on COPE's guidance:

Digital Archiving

Jurnal Psikologi is dedicated to ensuring the long-term availability and preservation of academic research. To enhance accessibility, we convert and update digital file formats to meet the latest technological standards. We collaborate with various organizations and also maintain our own digital archive.

Jurnal Psikologi’s Abstracting/Indexing services retain crucial information about the articles. Additionally, two of these services archive not only the article metadata but also the electronic versions, making them accessible to the scientific community through their systems as an alternative to the journal’s own.

All published articles receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via CrossRef. Jurnal Psikologi ensures long-term digital preservation by depositing publications in multiple digital archives globally. All articles are indexed in DOAJ and Google Scholar, and are permanently archived in HTML and PDF formats. The journal also makes article metadata available according to Open Archives Initiative protocols, allowing automated harvesting for inclusion in other digital archives.

Double-Blind-Review

To ensure the integrity of the blind peer-review for submission to this journal, every effort should be made to prevent the identities of the authors and reviewers from being known to each other. This involves the authors, editors, and reviewers (who upload documents as part of their review) checking to see if the following steps have been taken with regard to the text and the file properties:

  1. The authors of the document have deleted their names from the text and replace it with "Author".
  2. Author identification should also be removed from the properties for the file if the manuscript is written in a Microsoft Office document.
  3. Authors' names should also be removed from Document Properties found under File on Adobe Acrobat's main menu if the submission is made under pdf document.

Article Publication Charges (APCs)

All the articles published in Jurnal Psikologi are open access and free to access.
Manuscript submission fees are associated with only accepted articles to cover the costs of making the final version of the manuscript freely available via open access.

This journal charges the following author fees: 1,500,000 IDR. The author must pay the fee once the article has been accepted for. The fee listed is used for paper translation/proofreading and additionally the author will receive 5 copies of the journal. 


The corresponding author will be notified of the invoice (APCs). The author will receive a link in the form of a DOI article link which can be shared via email and social networks. The author will receive a printed version, then it will be sent by post. Furthermore readers can be ordered journal printed version from official web page.
