Focus and Scope
Poetika: Jurnal Ilmu Sastra focuses on the critical analysis and interpretation of literature through structural, post-structural, post-modern, and post-colonial approaches. Material objects covered include poetry, prose, drama, oral tradition, and philology. Articles may originate from or focus on works from any geographic region or genre, but preference is given to the foregrounding of marginalized peoples and groups, under-represented works, or those that give a voice to the voiceless.
Submitted articles should provide a critical perspective on contemporary works and contribute to current debates within contemporary literature, comprising semiotics, critical discourse analysis, descriptive qualitative, content analysis, or textual analysis. Currently, only research articles are accepted.
