Fast Dissolving Oral Film Salbutamol Sulfat dengan Menggunakan Polimer HPMC
Abstract
Salbutamol sulfat merupakan short acting ß2-agonis sebagai bronkodilator yang tersedia dalam bentuk oral dan inhalasi yang memiliki kekurangan diantaranya rasa dan bentuknya yang kurang nyaman untuk pasien tertentu serta bioavailabilitasnya rendah, sehingga dikembangkan bentuk sediaannya menjadi bentuk Fast Dissolving Oral Film. FDOF adalah sistem penghantaran obat berbentuk sediaan lapis tipis yang penggunaannya dengan cara diletakkan diatas lidah dan akan larut apabila kontak dengan saliva. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui formulasi FDOF salbutamol sulfat serta mengetahui karakteristiknya. FDOF dibuat dengan metode solvent casting menggunakan HPMC E5 sebagai polimer dengan variasi kosentrasi 3%, 4%, dan 5%, asam sitrat sebagai saliva stimulating agent, PEG 400 sebagai plasticizer, dan sorbitol sebagai pemanis. Uji organoleptik diperoleh berturut-turut pada F1, F2 dan F3 menghasilkan warna bening, tidak berbau dan transparan, uji ketebalan diperoleh nilai rata-rata dan standar deviasi yaitu 0,163 mm ± 0,005; 0,243 mm ± 0,02; 0,323 mm ± 0,01, uji keseragaman bobot yaitu 0,226 ± 0,003; 0,259 ± 0,008; 0,279 ± 0,006, uji daya tahan lipat yaitu 531,66 ± 2,86; 516 ± 4,58; 494,66 ± 3,51, uji keseragaman kadar obat yaitu 97,74% ± 0,703; 95,04% ± 0,516; 96,05% ± 0,85, pH permukaan pada F1-F3 yaitu 6±0, uji waktu hancur yaitu 13,66 ± 1,15; 17,66 ± 0,57; 22 ± 1,73. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua formula memenuhi persyaratan karakteristik sediaan film yang baik
