The handling editor will then evaluate the review. If the reviews differ widely, the editor may invite additional reviewers. The decision -whether the manuscript is accepted, accepted with revision, or rejected- will be communicated to the author;
  5. Revision. If a major revision is required, the editor will notify the reviewers the outcome of the review so that they may expect to receive a new version of the manuscript. However, reviewers might opt out of further participation. If a minor revision is required, the handling editor might follow-up the revised manuscript;
  6. Production. If an article is accepted, the manuscript will be sent to proofread and layout. The author will be notified once the final manuscript has been done. The article will only be published with confirmation by the author.
