Policies
Viva Justicia: Journal of Private Law employs a double-blind review process. Authors are encouraged to suggest at least two potential reviewers, including their names and email addresses. However, the final decision on selecting appropriate reviewers rests with the editor. Once the manuscript's gallery proof is approved, it will be made available online as soon as possible after receiving it from the author and completing final proofreading by the editor-in-chief.
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited. A plagiarism detection tool may be utilized to screen submitted articles for overlapping or similar text, requiring proper quotations and citations. It is the author’s responsibility to ensure their manuscript is free from plagiarism and academic misconduct. The editor will conduct a thorough check of each article before publication, first against the Viva Justicia: Journal of Private Law’s offline database and then against as many online databases as possible.
