The Pharmaceutics Journal's editorial policies regarding scientific research publications can be reviewed below.
Peer-Review Process
This journal uses a double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.
Rapid Peer-Review Process
The Pharmaceutics Journal does not accept requests for the rapid peer-review process at all. All manuscripts submitted to the Pharmaceutics Journal will be treated the same as described in the peer-review process section.
Authorship of the Paper
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included on the paper and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.
Disclosure and conflicts of interest
Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author.
Informed Consent
For research related to human subjects, the investigators must ask for the consent of the candidate subject through informed consent and the procedure must be conveyed in the research protocol submitted to the research ethics committee. With the approval of the research protocol by the ethics committee, the informed consent procedure was also approved. However, the authors must be able to provide evidence documents of the subjects' informed consent when requested by the editorial board for clarification at any time.
Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects
The procedures related to humans or animals should be approved by the Ethics Committee and/or refer to the standard procedures, and evidenced by a statement in the manuscript informing the name of the institution/research ethics committee and the ethic number obtained. If the work involves chemicals, procedures, or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript. If the author could not provide it, the Pharmaceutics Journal will decline submission.
Data Sharing and Retention
Authors are asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access to such data (consistent with the ALPSP-STM Statement on Data and Databases), if practicable, and should, in any event, be prepared to retain such data for a reasonable time after publication.
Presubmission Inquiry
The Pharmaceutics Journal only accepts pre-submission inquiries via email to mf.farmasi@ugm.ac.id with the subject title "Presubmission Inquiry".
No Prior Publication
The Pharmaceutics Journal only accepts publication manuscripts that have never been submitted to and/or published in other journals or proceedings.
Scientific Meetings
In the event of a scientific meeting in collaboration with the Pharmaceutics Journal, the peer-review process will still be carried out by the Pharmaceutics Journal and will be treated the same as described in the peer-review process section (no rapid peer-review process).
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
