Author Guidelines

  1. Paper Organization
    1. Introduction

  1. Title and Author’s Detail
    1. The first letter of each word in the title is capitalized in Times New Roman 16 pt.
    2. Author names without titles are written below the paper’s title, in order of author, i.e., the first author on the far left.
    3. Each author's name is marked with a superscript number, i.e. 1, 2, etc., according to the number of affiliates involved in the writing. Asterisk superscript, i.e. *, is given to the corresponding author.
    4. Affiliate names begin with a superscript number per point b.
    5. The name of the affiliation includes the name of the department/unit and affiliation/university/institution.
    6. The author's email is written next to the associated affiliation; the Corresponding author's email is written separately under affiliation.
    7. The author’s details are written in Times New Roman 11 pt.
  1. Abstract and Keywords
    1. Abstract and keywords are written in two languages: Bahasa Indonesia and English.
    2. It is recommended to use the following structure: (i) Background, (ii) Methodology, (iii) Results, (iv) Conclusion
    3. Contains a maximum of 250 words.
    4. Written in Times New Roman 9 pt.
  1. Figure, Table, and Equation
    1. Figures can be displayed with a maximum width of 8 cm. The caption is placed below the figure with center alignment.
    2. The table header is written in bold and the table border only uses three horizontal lines. The caption is placed above the table with center alignment.
    3. If the figures or tables you want to display are wider than the column width of the manuscript, the manuscript can be arranged into one column only on the figure or table and the figure or table is placed at the top or bottom of a page.
    4. All figures and tables must be cited in the main text. Figures and tables are placed as close as possible to the paragraphs that refer to them.
    5. All equations use center alignment and are followed by the serial number of the equation placed in brackets, i.e. (1), (2), etc.
    6. To refer to an equation in a paragraph, use “(1)” instead of “Equation (1)” or “equation (1)”, except at the beginning of a sentence.
  1. Reference
    1. Each submission must include at least 15 references.
    2. At least 80% of the references must be from primary sources, such as: journal articles, conference papers, theses, and dissertations.
    3. At least 80% of the references must be from recent publications, defined as being published within the last 10 years.
    4. Reference using the IEEE style. References must be numbered in the order in which they appear and indicated by a number or numbers in square brackets—for example, [1] or [2,3], or [4–6].
    5. If you want to refer to the reference, refer only to the reference number, such as “in [3]”, do not use “Ref. [3]" or "reference [3]" except at the beginning of the sentence, i.e. use "Reference [3] is the first ...".
    6. It is highly recommended to use Mendeley Reference Management Software (www.mendeley.com).
  1. General Rule
    1. Articles contain at least 5 pages written in English.
    2. Section titles are capitalized Times New Roman 10 pt.
    3. The paragraph uses Times New Roman 10 pt font. The first sentence in a paragraph is indented 0.5 cm.
    4. Foreign terms are written in italics, including the paper’s title.
    5. Every numeric word is written using numbers, except at the beginning of sentences and integers under ten.
  1. Editorial Process
    1. Each submitted paper undergoes a peer-review process to ensure quality and relevance.
    2. Authors may be required to revise their papers based on reviewers' feedback before final acceptance.
    3. The editorial team ensures that all necessary corrections and revisions have been made before publication.
    4. Any potential conflicts of interest must be declared by the authors during submission.
    5. The editorial board reserves the right to reject a paper if it does not meet the journal’s standards.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  4. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
