The Journal was first published in Vol 1 No1 October, 2016 as Jurnal Kesehatan Vokasional with ISSN 2541-0644.
In 2017, the journal has e-ISSN 2599-3275. Journal start to publish all content using an open license.
In 2018, the journal was nationally accredited with the decree SINTA 4 No. 34/E/KPT/2018. This accreditation is valid for 5 years until May 2021.
In 2020, the journal was nationally accredited with the decree SINTA 2 No. 148/M/KPT/2020 (start from Vol.5 No.1 Feb 2020). This accreditation is valid for 5 years until May 2024.
The initial frequency of publication in 2016 was in October, and the second issue was published in April 2017. By 2017, the frequency of issuance changes from October and April to May and November. Jurnal Kesehatan Vokasional Indexed by Sinta 2 Since 2020 (start from Vol. 5 No. 1: February 2020 until Vol. 9 No. 2: May 2024), and starting in 2019, the journal was published four times a year: February, May, August, and November.
