Journal History

Ilmu Pertanian (Agricultural Science) was first published by the Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University in 1969. Until 1992 Ilmu Pertanian (Agricultural Science) was published by volume 1 to volume 4, no. 1 to no. 8. Then, in 1992 to 1994 Ilmu Pertanian (Agricultural Science) was published from vol. 5 no. 1 to no. 4. In 2002 to 2014 Ilmu Pertanian (Agricultural Science) was taken over by the Department of Agronomy successfully published volume 5 to volume 17.

Ilmu Pertanian (Agricultural Science) was previously named Ilmu Pertanian. Ilmu Pertanian published until volume 18 no. 3, 2015. In 2016, Ilmu Pertanian changed its name to Ilmu Pertanian (Agricultural Science) and restarted the publication from volume 1 no. 1, 2016. The change of name is due to improved management of publication management such as full use of English for manuscripts, changes in lay out of manuscripts, and as a step towards internationalization of Ilmu Pertanian (Agricultural Science).

In 2016, Ilmu Pertanian (Agricultural Science) indexed by Google Scholar, Indonesia Publication Index, and Garuda. Then in 2017, Ilmu Pertanian (Agricultural Science) indexed by Directory Open Acces Journal (DOAJ) and has been accredited Sinta-2 by the Ministry of Research-Technology and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia

1. 10 June 2003 - Accredited C SK No. 34/DIKTI/Kep/2003 valid until 2006

2. 24 October 2018 - Accredited 2nd SK No. 30/E/KPT/2018 valid from Vol.2 No.2 2017 until Vol.6 No.2 2021

3. 27 December 2021 - Accredited 2nd SK No. 5162/E4/AK.04/2021 valid from Vol.5 No.3 2020 until Vol.10 No.2 2025
