Abstract
Abstrack— Has successfully implemented a
prototype sensor based electronic selective
membrane. Chemical sensors based on ion selective
membrane is to use a mixture of dicotyledonous
phosphate (DOP) and Trioctyl methyl ammonium
chloride (TOMA), with a composition of 9 and 1.
Taste sensor working electrode and reference
electrode immersed in the sample test solution and
connected with ion meter. So that the signal can be
captured by the ion meter then use a buffer as the
interface becomes a high input impedance low output
impedance. Measured signal is magnified by the
amplifier so that it can be read by the display. Results
shown by substraction of the signal reference
electrode with the working electrode signal.
The experimental results show DOP-based ion
selective membranes and TOMA with a ratio 9 and 1
have the ability to perform characterization and
anionic response in a sample of five basic tastes of
sour, sweet, bitter, salty and umami and the
concentrations were varied from 0.1 mmol to 100
mmol. While the response time is obtained at 4
minutes to get stable data with measured values in the
sample five basic tastes.
