Dinamika Psikologis Individu Dewasa Awal dengan Gangguan Fobia Spesifik (Ketakutan Terhadap Cacing)
Abstract
Gangguan psikologis dapat dialami oleh individu dengan berbagai rentang usia salah satunya adalah dewasa awal. Reaksi yang sering terjadi berupa perasaan ketakutan yang berlebihan terhadap suatu objek atau situasi tertentu hingga memicu gejala fisik dan emosional. Berbagai faktor situasi, kondisi, dan perilaku dapat mempengaruhi kondisi individu yang mengalami gangguan fobia terhadap suatu objek atau situasi tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan dan menjelaskan dinamika psikologis dewasa dengan gangguan fobia spesifik (ketakutan terhadap cacing). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian merupakan seorang perempuan berusia 22 tahun dengan gangguan psikologis fobia spesifik (ketakutan terhadap cacing). Peneliti memperoleh data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes psikologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gangguan fobia spesifik yang dialami telah dikembangkan akibat salahnya pola pikir yang dikembangkan sejak masa kanak-kanak dan berdampak hingga usia dewasa sehingga subjek mengalami perilaku kompulsif menghindari objek yang ditakuti.
