Open Access Policy
This journal adhere to the best practice and high publishing standards and comply with the following conditions:
- Provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge;
- Deposits content with a long term digital preservation or archiving program;
- Uses DOIs as permanent identifiers;
- Can Provide Provide article level metadata for any indexers and aggregators;
- Allows generous reuse and mixing of content, in accordance with CC BY-SA license;
Screening Plagiarism
Plagiarism screening will be conducted using iThenticate & Turnitin online plagiarism detection software. If the screening finds similarity index up to 20% or more, the author should rewrite the entire manuscript. The editor has the right to reject and replace the manuscript if the author does not abide with the regulation within a given time limit (a month) after the manuscript has been returned for revising.
Article Publication Charges (APCs)
All the articles published in Gadjah Mada Journal of Psychology (GamaJoP) are open access and free to access. This journal charges the following author fees: 700,000 IDR. The author must pay the fee once the article has been accepted for. The corresponding author will be notified of the invoice (APC). Digital Archiving
This journal utilizes the Indonesia One Search (IOS), Indonesian Scientific Journal Database (ISJD), and Indonesian Publication Index (IPI) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Conflict of Interest
Gadjah Mada Journal of Psychology (GamaJoP) respects requests not to have the manuscripts peer-reviewed by those experts who may have a competing interest with the author(s) of a submitted manuscript. It is not possible for Editors to be aware of all competing interests; we therefore expect that reviewers would inform the Editor-in-Chief if they notice any potential competing interest during the course of review of a manuscript. Moreover, the reviewers are expected to inform the Editors or editorial office of the journal if they have a conflict of interest in carrying out a review of a manuscript submitted by any author/contributor of the manuscript.
Double-Blind-Review
To ensure the integrity of the blind peer-review for submission to this journal, every effort should be made to prevent the identities of the authors and reviewers from being known to each other. This involves the authors, editors, and reviewers (who upload documents as part of their review) checking to see if the following steps have been taken with regard to the text and the file properties:
