Pernikahan di Era Mesir Modern: Sejarah, Tradisi, dan Tantangan.
Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Mesir dalam konteks pernikahan di era modern dengan mengacu pada beberapa teori yang relevan. Menggunakan pendekatan sejarah dan budaya, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi signifikansi pernikahan di Mesir dan dampak perubahan dalam sikap terhadap peran gender dan pengaruh budaya Barat. Berdasarkan teori-teori sosiologi dan psikologi sosial, penelitian ini membahas perubahan dalam kehidupan berpasangan, dinamika keluarga, dan pergeseran peran serta tanggung jawab suami-istri. Selain itu, teori feminisme digunakan untuk menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi oleh istri dalam menjalani tuntutan kehidupan yang seringkali bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai tradisional. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pernikahan di Mesir mengalami perubahan, institusi pernikahan tetap memainkan peran penting dalam stabilitas pribadi dan keluarga, serta menjadi simbol kedewasaan dan status sosial. Penelitian ini juga memberikan refleksi tentang evolusi pernikahan di Mesir di era modern dan menggarisbawahi pentingnya komunikasi terbuka, saling menghormati, serta kemampuan untuk beradaptasi dalam menghadapi perubahan.
