KOMBINASI ANALISIS FUNDAMENTAL DENGAN ANALISIS TEKNIKAL DALAM MENGHASILKAN RETURN SAHAM

Abstract
ABSTRAK
Tujuan - Untuk menganalisis alternatif strategi dengan mengombinasikan metode analisis teknikal pada analisis fundamental dalam menghasilkan return yang lebih baik pada perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia.
Desain/Metodologi/Pendekatan – Penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan dengan studi kasus. Perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor barang konsumsi dan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2017 menjadi objek pada penelitian ini. Pada analisis data dibagi menjadi tiga bagian yaitu analisis fundamental, analisis kombinasi fundamental dan teknikal, serta uji statistik.
Temuan – Hasil pengujian analisis fundamental menunjukkan bahwa dari seluruh perusahaan di sektor barang konsumsi yang menjadi sampel tidak semua perusahaan memiliki nilai intrinsik lebih rendah dari harga pasarnya. Pada pengujian return analisis fundamental memberikan informasi bahwa dalam periode satu tahun penggunaan metode fundamental memiliki kemungkinan untuk memberikan return yang negatif. Setelah dilakukan kombinasi dengan analisis teknikal, return yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih baik yang ditunjukkan dengan tidak terdapatnya return yang negatif dan cenderung lebih tinggi. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa menggunakan kombinasi analisis terbukti dapat menjadi alternatif dalam mempercepat perolehan return. Hasil tersebut juga mengindikasikan bahwa adanya tambahan informasi dari analisis teknikal dapat meningkatkan informasi dari analisis fundamental.
